The British television singing competition – X Factor UK 2016 just have few days to wrap up and we are face to face With the three contestants who made it to the finals last Sunday night.
During the December 4, 2016, competition, 18-year-old, Emily Middlemas was voted off the show after nine weeks on the singing competition.
The Scottish singer was evicted after a sing-off with Matt Terry who sang a rendition of Christina Aguilera’s Hurt.
Giving her valedictory speech Emily said ‘I’m so proud of myself for actually getting to the semi-final. This year has been amazing and I’m just so lucky to have been a part of it’.
While her mentor Simon Cowell added ‘I’m gutted for Emily but it’s all about what you do with the rest of your life now and you’re a fantastic person. I’m very proud of you, well done”.
However, Emily was the last remaining act in Cowell Simon’s team. With the eviction of the 18-year old , the judge is left with no other act in his team.
But surprisingly, Cowell seemed not be at home with Terry’s performance that he retorted ‘‘although it was nice. It was a bit predictable. It was a little bit, like having the sandwich without the butter”.
Anyways, Terry was voted off by Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger who were not really thrilled by her performance.
The remaining contestants who are going to dig out at this weekend’s live finals of X Factor UK 2016 are Matt Terry, Saara Aalto and 5 After Midnight.
The trio are billed to perform homecoming gigs this week in Bromley, Leicester and… Helsinki
The X Factor UK 2016, who wears the crown?
After the eviction of Emily from the show on Sunday, December 4, 2016, Matt Terry, Saara Aalto and After 5 Midnight, came to be the last three standing. The question now is who emerges the winner in the December 11, finals at Wembley?
Terry over the nine weeks in the competition has proven to be a strong force to contend with, but the recent development where he has been falling behind Saara Aalto and 5 After Midnight in terms of votes is worrisome.
On how this diva got to this point is still beyond imagination, and she is not leaving any stone unturned as the finals draw seriously near. With her performance so far, Aalto is a contestant to watch.
5 After Midnight
This group escaped being eliminated penultimate week. In fact, we saw it that Honey G stepped into their shoes, because without Honey G’s eviction, they would have been the ones to got kicked out of the competition.
All things being equal, they are now among the top finalists and are not letting their guards down, they are working seriously hard to win the X Factor UK 2016.
