Solid preparations are being made to ensure more credible and superb season edition of The Voice season 13 singing competition which is supposed to premiere this fall.
A new face would be joining the reality show- The Voice coaching line-up for season 13 with her wealth of experience garnered over the years.
Wondering who that could be? No need for that as the show network, NBC has already announced that Jennifer Hudson is joining the singing competition in the voice season 13 series.
Jennifer Hudson will work alongside other coaches- Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, as well as Miley Cyrus, who is supposedly returning after taking the spring cycle off.
However, Jennifer Hudson had served as a coach on The Voice U.K. version earlier this year where she won her first season on the series. As such, Jennifer Hudson has a deep understanding of what the aspiring singers are going through having been a contestant on the third season of another reality show-American Idol.
Hudson in The Voice season 13 will be replacing departing coach Alicia Keys, who, after two consecutive seasons, declared that she’s ready to walk away from the show for good. While Miley Cyrus, on the other hand, returns to give Gwen Stefani a break.
According to the President, Alternative and Reality Group, NBC Entertainment Paul Telegdy who expressed his thought on the issue, “Jennifer is an extraordinary vocal talent and one of the premier voices of our time. She embodies the experience, expertise, positivity and sheer talent that “The Voice” stands for.”
He continued, “Her exceptional skills as a singer and actress have extended to film, television, and Broadway, which makes her an incredible addition and a natural fit for our show.”
Meanwhile, The Voice season 12 continues on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
