The Bravo American reality TV show Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) debuted on October 14, 2010. But January 20, 2011 finale became the highest-rated Season 1 episode with 4.2 million viewers, when combined with multiple evening reruns. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hill’s season one became the second highest rated first season series of the Real Housewives franchise ever in all demographics, averaging 2.42 million total viewers and 1.71 million adults 18–49.

However, the original housewives, Grammer left after the second season, Armstrong and Maloof left after the third, while Kim Richards left after the fifth. In April 2016, the network announced the renewal of Real Housewives season seven and on June 15, 2016, one of the cast Hadid also announced that she would not be returning to the show for season seven. On July 7, Vanderpump declared she would come back for the season seven while Edwards announced that she would be departing from the cast after one season. In August 2016, Davidson confirmed she would return for her third consecutive season.
