The lingering divorce filed by the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star- Khloe Kardashian against former husband Lamar Odom has finally been decided on.
The divorce was finalized by a Los Angeles judge on Friday, December 9, 2016, and according to court documents obtained by CNN. The former couple will legally be single on Saturday, December 17, 2016.
The court has ruled that the duo should go their separate ways while it is expected that neither Khloe Kardashian nor Lamar Odom will receive spousal support from the other.
Khloe had filed for divorce in December 2013 after being married to Ex-basketball star for four years.
But the reality star called it off after Lamar Odom was found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada last year, insisting his medical condition was one reason to stop the process.
But in May this year she re-filed for divorce after Lamar Odom was released from the hospital and had fully recovered, citing irreconcilable differences in the marriage.
Khole and the former NBA player started a company called Khlomar after they started dating in 2009 and since they have been officially divorced, the company will now be dissolved.
Due to a prenuptial agreement, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star will keep her interest in the DASH clothing boutique she founded in 2006 with sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, according to TMZ. While the retired basketball pro, will keep his 401(k) plan from the NBA.
“They’re relieved it’s over and ready to move on with their lives,” a source previously told Us Weekly of the couple’s divorce.
“I want Lamar to be happy with Lamar again,” Khloe said on her short-lived talk show, Kocktails With Khloé, in March. “I want Lamar to fall in love with his life one more time”.
Remember that the keeping Up With The Kardashians star is now in a romantic relationship with Cleveland Cavaliers star Tristan Thompson.
