The Grammy winner Janet Jackson pregnancy just came as a surprise to all, but yesterday January 3, 2017 she welcomed her first child at the age of 50.
The American singer, songwriter, dancer and actress-Janet Damita Jo Jackson gave birth to her first baby and it turned out to be a boy who has been named Eissa.
The news of Eissa’s arrival was confirmed to People exclusive in a statement issued by the singer’s rep.
The statement reads “Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world.”
It continued “Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”
Moreover, it has been gathered that the name Eissa could mean Jesus in Arabic
However, throughout Janet Jackson’s pregnancy, she was very conscious of revealing much about her personal life most especially on social media.
Janet Jackson’s pregnancy resulted to a lot of concerns because of her age at the time of conception.
Janet is the youngest child of the Jackson family who began her career with the variety television series The Jacksons in 1976 and went on to appear in other television shows throughout the 1970s and early 1980s, including Good Times and Fame.
In her statement to People, the award-winning singer told fans, “We thank God for our blessing” while the news was confirming Janet Jackson’s pregnancy.
Many people have taken to their Twitter handled to congratulate Janet including family members.
“Congrats Auntie @JanetJackson!!! So so happy for you & Wissam,” TJ Jackson stated “Enjoy every minute with your greatest hit, Elissa. #parenthoodisthebest.”
While Asa Soltan Rahmati wrote “Congratulations to Auntie Janet and her husband Wissam Al Mana and their new born son Eissa. Can’t wait to meet him.”
But very outrageous were the responses from NBC News tweet as they announced the singer delivered a baby boy.
