Former US First Ladies -Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama have rejected Dancing With The Stars invites to show off their dance steps on the ballroom reality show which premieres this March 20 at 8 pm on ABC.
According to US Magazine, source revealed to the media outfit that the first person to say no to the offer among the Former US First Ladies was the Democratic presidential nominee and former First Lady Hillary Clinton.
Not only did the the 69-year-old politician said no to participate during 24th season of Dancing With The Stars, Former First Lady, 53-year-old Michelle Obama and 32-year-old new mum Ashlee Simpson also turned the show offer down.
Although, we are yet to know why the Former US First Ladies rejected the Dancing With The Stars invites but one thing is sure, there are many others who have shown interest to participate.
They include; The Bachelor, 36-year-old Nick Viall, and he is going to be the fourth person from the romance world to participate in the ballroom show.
We also have Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Erika Girardi 45-year-old as well as the Olympic ice queen Nancy Kerrigan, 47-year-old. Kerrigan won silver at the 1994 Winter Games in Norway.
However, last Thursday, the only confirmed two competitors were revealed by the show’s network- ABC, and they include; 19-year-old phenom Simone Biles, who won four golds and a bronze at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics, and the A-Team’s Mr. T.
It was reported that DWTS Producers will include, according to source close to the show ”a couple of movie stars who are showing interest”. ”They’re just trying to put together a good cast.”
Meanwhile, we are all waiting for the full list of stars competing for the dancing With The Stars mirrorball trophy to be revealed on Good Morning America on March 1.
